Auto Engineering Supplies, as our Company name suggests, built strong foundations on supplying the Motor industry and although the high volume products have migrated to the low cost manufacturing economies we have been successful in retaining the low to medium batch niche products. Accelerator, clutch and brake pedals in forged or ultra lightweight pressed steel fabrications we have the experience in machining, welding, painting and assembly of complex shaped pedal assemblies.
We have sourced in excess of 250,000 gearshift lever forgings and processed the detailed machining requirements to include the in house four stage broaching operation of the complicated lever end form completing the heat treatment and final assembly of the product. We have experience in machining exhaust and inlet manifolds, disc and drum brake housings where flatness, surface finish and dimensional accuracy are of paramount importance.
Auto Engineering has developed a speciality status in machining automotive hinge assemblies on behalf of our Customer for MAN trucks, Land Rover and LDV. Motorcycle components for world leading Triumph Motorcycles including side stands, luggage racks, axle covers and numerous other accessories are machined and where required assembled by our staff.
