Brazed body and insert fittings were deemed by the Customer as unacceptable due to the extremely harsh operating environments and high-pressure applications required of the fitting. Minimum batch sizes and lengthy lead times developing costly tools and dies are factors that have rendered the forging route an uneconomical option. Auto Engineering has solved these particular problems by producing a range of fittings from solid billets of material, this guarantees leak free fittings at an affordable cost delivered within an acceptable time frame.
