The Warehouse
We realise the importance of offering our Customer the most competitive price possible delivering a quality product on time every time. After conducting an exhaustive detailed ‘Make or Buy’ study for volume products that researched best practice methodology and machining applications against direct purchasing from low cost economies the result was to adopt a trial period sample outsourcing program. A benefit of the study was that Auto Engineering could hone their existing skills by adopting parts of the best practice study and apply the knowledge to the retained small to medium volume products.
Three and a half years later after a floor rationalisation program and continued investment in materials handling equipment and high level heavy duty storage facilities Auto Engineering are proud to offer our Customers an off the shelf solution to their high volume product supply problems. Our Warehouse team have completed NVQ training in Warehousing, Distribution and Storage undertaken with locally based knowledge partner Tamworth College of Further Education.
We have experience in Kan-ban, J.I.T, and Direct line feed programs delivering monthly, weekly or daily to meet Customer demand. Stock rotation, precise batch traceability, assembly and final inspection is conducted at Tamworth which gives our Customers total confidence of receiving reliable and quality assured products.
